Come and mix sport, pleasure and discovery during a caving activity in the Marie-Jeanne cave, in the Gorges de Galamus!
Accessible from the age of 10, the Marie-Jeanne cave offers a sporty and fun caving course: it consists of an underground crossing by entering the cave through a porch at the top of the massif and coming out lower down, in the Gorges de Galamus. You will then have to abseil down 17, 6 and 4 meters, pass through handrails, climb, visit large rooms with various concretions (stalactites, stalagmites and draperies), playful passages, opposition games and a ladder climb. Enough to keep you busy during this half-day caving trip!
You'll go through the Marie-Jeanne cave with a state-qualified caving instructor and using equipment that meets strict standards, ensuring your safety throughout the activity. So if you are in the Aude department or the Pyrénées-Orientales department and would like to do a sporty and fun activity in the area, don't hesitate any longer and come and do some caving in the Marie-Jeanne cave, less than an hour's drive from Perpignan!

Course of events
- Welcome and equipment: 25 min
- Approach walk: 10 min
- Underground exploration: 2 hours depending on the audience
- Return walk: 10 min
- Time to discuss and debrief the adventure: 30 min
In total, 3 hours of caving activity!

You must not have any medical contraindication to the practice of caving.
