Course of events
- Meet at the Maye car park, 3 km north of Le Crotoy, at the entrance to the Nature Reserve.
- Welcome by the guide, briefing on the route, the wildlife and the rules to be observed.
- A 2.5 to 3-hour walk, adapted to the rhythm of the tide.
- Watch for migratory birds (spoonbills, sandpipers, shelducks...) and seals on the sandbanks.
- Stop to comment on the landscapes: mudflats, dunes, typical vegetation.
- Explanations of the local ecosystem along the way.
- Back to the starting point.
- An opportunity to chat with the guide, ask questions and share your impressions.

Departure times and dates may vary according to the tides.
To get to the Maye car park from Le Crotoy, head towards St Firmin and St Quentin en Tourmont (you'll go alongside Le Crotoy's communal marsh for 2 km), then take the first left onto Route de la Maye to the end where you'll find the (sandy) car park.
Do not forget to bring
- From May to October and in good weather: Old shoes (tennis shoes, sandals, neoprene slippers, etc.), hat, shorts and sun cream.
- From October to May and in wet weather: Boots and warm clothing
