Guided hiking of the Bay of the Somme for around 3 hours from Le Crotoy or Saint Valéry de Somme.
Course of events
- Meet 10 minutes before departure at Le Crotoy locks or Saint-Valery-sur-Somme station, depending on the direction of travel.
- Welcome by your guide, safety briefing and explanation of the route.
- Cross the bay on foot for 2.5 to 3 hours, between mudflats, sandbanks and salt meadows.
- Discover the fauna, flora and tides, with naturalist anecdotes and tastings on offer.
- Accessible pace, regular breaks and friendly atmosphere.
- End at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. Free return or possible by steam train (at your expense).
Special terms
Dogs on a lead are welcome.
Departure times and dates may vary according to the tides.
For this activity, make sure you buy the train tickets once the timetable has been set. For the return journey, you can take the little train back to the starting point.
