Lush nature, salt meadows and fields of reeds are all on the programme for your stand-up paddle down the Courant de Mimizan!
Sail down the Courant de Mimizan coastal river and enjoy a relaxing SUP ride bordered by magnificent vegetation and natural panoramas! Oaks, willows and other trees, nature has many surprises in store for you. On the calm waters of the Courant, you'll be surprised by the tranquillity of the river and the surrounding area, and this is the perfect time to observe the wildlife of the Landes.
You'll have the chance to share this unique moment with your children, thanks to equipment suitable for all. Younger children will share a paddle and will be seated at the front of the board, while older teenagers will be able to find their balance and make their own way around the river by choosing their own SUP. Throughout the activity, an enthusiastic instructor will be on hand to help you enjoy the activity in complete safety and provide assistance if necessary.
This stand-up paddle in Mimizan will take you straight to the heart of the seaside resort and its fine sandy beaches. In summer, depending on the tide times, you may be lucky enough to end your trip on a sunny note, with a superb sunset on your arrival on the beach!
Come and enjoy a paddle on the Mimizan river, surrounded by the typical fauna and flora of the moors, and experience a magical moment with your loved ones!
- Meeting point at Mimizan Plage. You can leave your personal items in the All Water lorry.
- Journey to the starting point upstream on the river in a 9-seater minibus.
- Small equipment and material: the instructor will give you a paddle and a paddle adapted to your size and balance.
- Briefing at the water's edge on the basics of paddling: position, movement, etc.
- Boarding and descent of the river (under the setting sun for the lucky ones!)
- Arrival at Mimizan Plage, at the meeting point for the departure. Landing
- Collect your belongings from the lorry and talk to your instructor about your experience.
Activity requirements
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
A minimum number of 6 participants is required to run this activity.
Younger children must be accompanied by an adult on the same board (seated at the front of the board).
