About the activity

Discover the colourful underwater world of Bora Bora during this diving experience in French Polynesia, specially organised for beginners! No skill or physical condition is required, just a thirst for discovering a wonderful world! It's a simple activity open to everyone, and you don't need to know how to swim: the explanations given by your instructor and his or her constant presence in the water will be enough to make your first dive in Bora Bora an extraordinary experience!

Head to the legendary Matira beach, where you'll meet the qualified team at Bora Diving Center, a 5* diving centre that has been offering its services since 1992. On site, you'll find all the facilities you need for your comfort (lockers, toilets, showers) and you'll be able to prepare for your first dive in the best possible conditions, with invaluable advice from professionals. You will be given a theoretical briefing on scuba diving and provided with quality Aqualung equipment. You will then board a comfortable boat to reach the dive site.

When you're ready, a dedicated instructor will accompany you into the water to ensure your safety throughout the dive. Your first dive in the Bora Bora lagoon will take place at one of three dive sites: Toopua, L'Aquarium or Anau. All ideal for beginners, these dive sites offer the chance to spot rays, coral and a variety of fish in translucent waters. Prepare to be amazed by the beauty of Bora Bora's underwater world and the incredible feeling of weightlessness and freedom that diving offers!

After your dive, you'll return to the boat, which is equipped with a sun awning and space for your personal belongings. You can then drink some fresh water and have a debriefing with the instructor. If you wish, you can return to the centre to take a shower and enjoy the terrace overlooking the Bora Bora lagoon. If not, you'll take a transfer back to your hotel with sublime images in your mind and maybe even on photos if you decide to rent a GoPro on site.
