Let yourself be charmed by the crystal-clear waters of French Polynesia during a guided boat and snorkeling tour in Bora Bora. At the heart of the lagoon, dominated by the majestic silhouette of Mount Otemanu, the coastline reveals an exceptionally rich ecosystem. Mount Otemanu, an ancient shield volcano rising in the center of the island, tells the fascinating geological history of the lagoon and its surrounding coral reefs. Accompanied by a certified Polynesian guide who is passionate about his native land, you will discover the full beauty and fragility of this preserved marine environment.
This 3.5-hour sea excursion combines wildlife observation, cultural immersion, and environmental awareness. The boat ride begins with a search for majestic manta rays swimming in the lagoon, before continuing toward an open-ocean immersion site that offers a unique perspective on the reef. During the snorkeling stops in Bora Bora, your guide will share precise marine biology knowledge to help you identify corals and the numerous species of tropical fish inhabiting the coral garden. The itinerary also integrates a historical and cultural element along the coast, featuring former American World War II cannons as well as local legends and ancient marae, sacred structures of Polynesian culture.
This adventure is suitable for anyone who knows how to swim, whether complete beginners or marine ecosystem enthusiasts. To ensure optimal comfort and personalized interaction with your instructor, the excursion is limited to a small group of 10 participants maximum on board. All snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, and fins), life jackets, bath towels, refreshing drinks, and snacks are provided for the experience. If you prefer to enjoy this moment exclusively with your loved ones, a private excursion option is also available.
