The PADI Open Water course is perfect if you’ve already completed a discovery dive and want to progress, unlocking the doors to new underwater adventures. With this PADI Open Water training in Tahiti, you’ll learn at your own pace in a fun and engaging way, earning the world’s most recognised and sought-after recreational diving certification. After completing the course, you’ll be able to dive independently with a buddy up to 18 metres anywhere in the world!
Your training will take place in both the lagoon and the open ocean of Tahiti, under the direct supervision of a qualified PADI instructor (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). With their guidance, you will practise in dive areas up to 18 metres deep, learning how to use and care for diving equipment, plan and execute dives, and anticipate and manage potential issues—all against the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.
Depending on weather conditions and your comfort level, several dive sites are available. One popular option is “The Aquarium”, a shallow coral maze ideal for training dives, where you can observe typical Polynesian lagoon species such as damselfish, parrotfish, clownfish, surgeonfish, and more. Another site, “La Vallée des Âmes”, stretches from the reef to the channel and is home to clownfish, juvenile parrotfish, and vibrant blue damselfish.
In every case, the underwater world of Polynesia will not disappoint! Don’t wait—book your PADI Open Water course in Tahiti now and prepare to progress as you explore the paradise of the Pacific Ocean!
