First Dive and Level 1 Course in Tahiti

Please allow up to 4 hours for each of the 3 half-days.

• Meeting with the team at the Taina Marina, in front of the La Casa Bianca restaurant (free parking / showers and public toilets accessible at the marina)
• Presentations and administrative formalities
• Distribution of equipment and fitting of wetsuits
• Briefing on the course of the activity, followed by an introductory theory briefing (scuba diving equipment, underwater communication signs, safety instructions, basics of diving: breathing, balance, ear compensation, etc.)
• Boarding the boat and sailing to the dive site selected according to the day's weather conditions for your first dive (10 to 15 minutes)
• Once you arrive at the dive site, gradually launch into the water with 1 instructor for a maximum of 2 divers, followed by simple exercises on the surface to familiarise yourself with the equipment
• As soon as you are ready, immerse yourself in the Tahitian lagoon for a 20-30 minute first dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres
• Back on board the boat, de-equipping with the help of the instructor
• Debriefing of your experience over a hot drink and a well-deserved snack
• Sailing back to the marina (10 to 15 minutes)
• Back at the marina, disembarkation and organisation of the next half-day of training (you will make 2 training dives of around 40 minutes each per half-day remaining)

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

You are required to bring a medical waiver to participate in this activity

All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people, wheelchair users and people with medical conditions incompatible with sea transport and cardiovascular effort in the ocean.
