Would you like to explore the rich underwater environment of the Cousteau Reserve in Guadeloupe and discover new sensations? Then why not try your hand at scuba diving in Bouillante, from the Cocagne spot where the Lanj Karayib diving centre is located? Supervised by a team of passionate professionals, you will have the chance to set off on an adventure to the south of the îlets Pigeon, on little-visited and often exclusive dive sites (Ilet Christophe, Machette, Pointe de Quesy, etc.). Be prepared to encounter the superb fauna and flora of the Cousteau Reserve: tropical fish of all kinds (angelfish, boxfish, etc.), coral, etc., and maybe even turtles if you are lucky!
For this first dive in Bouillante, you can choose between a 20-minute, 30-minute or even 45-minute dive for a real introduction to the sport, including theory. In both cases, each diver will be accompanied by an instructor in the water, ensuring that everyone has a safe experience, tailored to their individual needs. From the unusual action of breathing through a regulator, to the feeling of weightlessness once submerged, and the total silence beneath the surface, this first diving experience is sure to surprise! Are you ready to take the plunge and experience these astonishing sensations, all in the sublime setting of the Cousteau Reserve?
The warm atmosphere of the fully-equipped centre (changing rooms, toilets, showers, etc.), the professionalism of the DEJEPS-qualified instructors (State Diploma in Youth, Popular Education and Sport), the quality of the Scubapro diving equipment and the beauty of the dive sites make this first dive in Bouillante a not-to-be-missed experience in Basse-Terre and the Cousteau Reserve. The best part of the experience? The Lanj Karayib team will also be stopping off at Bouillante's hot springs for a swim!
