Come and take your first PADI diving course in the Cousteau Reserve and experience training on magnificent dive sites!

If you have done your first dive this year and you would like to go further in the discipline, taking the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water course is the next step for you! The Atlantis Formation centre invites you to complete your PADI training in the Cousteau Reserve, a must-see spot for discovering scuba diving in Guadeloupe and admiring the extraordinary richness of the underwater life. Under the supervision of a qualified diving instructor, you will make several dives that will give you the skills you need to dive to depths of 12 or 20 metres.

Scuba Diver - a 3-dive course, without theory, enabling you to dive to a depth of 12 metres alongside a dive master;

Open Water - a 6-dive course, with e-learning theory training, enabling you to dive to a depth of 20 metres alongside a dive master.

Objectives

Being able to dive to a depth of 12 metres with a dive master

Course of events

- Meeting with the instructors at the training centre

- Briefing on the activity, safety instructions and respect for the environment where you will be diving

- Sailing to the selected dive site according to the sea and weather conditions of the day

- Fitting of your diving equipment by the instructor on board the boat or in the water, depending on your preference

- Immersion for 50 minutes at a maximum depth of 12 metres alongside the diving instructor

- De-equipping your tanks in the water before returning to the boat to debrief the experience

- Navigation back to the training centre where you will be able to enjoy a shower and planification of the next 2 dives

Activity requirements

Having passed a first dive within the year is required to partake in the activity.

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.

You must not have any medical contraindications to taking up the activity, such as heart, lung or ENT problems (including one-sided deafness), severe asthma or epilepsy.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult on the boat: €25 per accompanying adult if not diving (snorkelling equipment will be provided).

Special terms

Pregnant people cannot participate in this activity.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
