Practical information
This downhill mountain bike tour is ideal for freeriders who want to discover varied and unique terrain, starting on the slopes of Piton Maïdo at an altitude of 2,000 meters. You will enter the heart of the Tamarins forest, which will lead you to the Savane de Saint-Paul, on the seafront - an extraordinary itinerary!
Course of events
- Meeting with the instructor at the meeting point
- Shuttle bus to the excursion departure point (approx. 1 hour's transport)
- Distribution of bikes and safety equipment, followed by fitting out
- Briefing on the route you will be taking and safety rules
- Departure for the descent (approx. 4 hours)
- End of the descent and return of bikes and equipment
Activity requirements
Knowing how to ride a bike is compulsory for this activity, as well as having already ridden downhill.
