The Grand Etang Equestrian Farm offers you a horse ride to the emblematic volcano of Réunion Island, the Piton de la Fournaise.
Star of the Réunion Island, this most visited volcano of the island culminates at an altitude of 2,632 meters. It erupts regularly and is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Located in the south-east of the island, it is part of the Réunion National Park and has a unique biodiversity. Farther north, the Piton des Neiges sits enthroned at the top of the Indian Ocean.
This one-day ride will allow you to enjoy the Réunionese scenery on horseback. It is open to experienced riders who are familiar with all three gaits.
If you know how to ride a horse, this excursion is a good way to enjoy yourself while discovering the breathtaking scenery that Réunion Island and its Piton de la Fournaise volcano have to offer!

Be an experienced rider. Please do not wear shorts but long pants.
You must be comfortable in all 3 paces (walk, trot, canter).
