Admire the magical colors of the sunset over a lagoon from the beach of Le Morne during an unforgettable horseback ride!

The sunset over the Morne lagoon, in the southwest of Mauritius, is a magnificent spectacle that should not be missed under any circumstances. And to fully enjoy it in an original way, why not opt for a horseback ride on the beach of Le Morne, at the foot of the Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage Site?

In a private group of riders of the same level, you will go for a horseback ride at sunset on the Morne beach, a long stretch of white sand bordered by the turquoise water of the lagoon. From 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your choice, the ride is preceded by a short tour of the stud farm so that the instructor can check your level of riding. Beginners will benefit from a 10 minutes initiation during which they will learn how to lead their horse during the ride, which will be done safely at a walk, while more experienced riders will be able to trot and gallop behind the instructor.

- Reception at the Haras du Morne

- Equipment (helmet, riding leggings and protections)

- Presentation of the horse

- For beginner riders, initiation session of 10 minutes in the haras's arena: learning of the different paces (walking at a walk with the horse held in the longe by the instructor, switching to a trot once the walk is well acquired, then trying the gallop if the rider is comfortable) and the direction of the horse (making it move forward, stop, go right and left)

- For riders who have already ridden, the instructor will check your level in the arena before the ride

- Departure for the ride to the beach of Le Morne at the walk following the instructor himself on horseback

- For beginners, the horses will always stay together at the walk, while the more experienced riders can trot and gallop according to their desires

- Return to the haras and removal of equipment
