- This route is not a complete ascent, as the second part of the path leading to the summit is temporarily closed.
- This alternative route climbs halfway up the route and still offers superb views, similar to those from the summit, but at a lower altitude.
Course of events
- Arrive at the shopping centre car park opposite Le Paradis hotel in Le Morne.
- Meet your guide and learn about the route.
- Depart for your hike to Morne Brabant.
- You will cover 7 km with 350m of D+ and hike for around 3 hours.
- When you reach the halfway point, you can admire superb panoramic views, similar to those from the summit, from a lower altitude.
- Return to the starting point, debrief and end the activity.
