Activity description

Maximize your thrills by ziplining across Europe's deepest canyon, 170 meters (558 feet) above the Tara River! Have you always wanted to experience the feeling of being weightless while hurtling through the air at top speeds? If so, this activity is calling your name! 

Located near Montenegro's renowned UNESCO World Heritage site, Durmitor National Park, the Tara Canyon (also known as the Tara River Gorge) spans a whopping total of 82 kilometres (51 miles) and is punctuated by the Tara Bridge (built in 1940), which towers above the beautiful Tara River. 

During your ziplining experience, your flight will traverse a 350-meter (1148-foot) cable at high speeds! You and your loved one or friend can even go at the same time, as there are 2 cables placed side-by-side whose design and installation were made by construction experts with many years of experience in cable cars, ski lifts, and ziplines. 

Once you've crossed the Tara Bridge and arrived at the meeting point, you'll receive a short safety briefing before being outfitted with your harness and helmet. Once the instructor has secured you to the rope, it's off and away! Although the flight is only 45 seconds long, you'll still feel the adrenaline high hours later.

Course of events

- To arrive at the zipline starting point, you must cross Tara Bridge on foot, which will take approximately 10 minutes. 

- This is a first come, first serve activity and participants must queue

- You will receive a short safety briefing by an instructor and be fitted into a harness, equipped with a helmet, and attached to the rope

- Thrilling 45-second zipline! 

- Take off your equipment

Please be advised that all children aged 8 years old and under cannot ride alone and must be attached to an adult.
