Canyoning in Nevidio at Durmitor National Park near Zabljak

Calling all adventurers! This action-packed, 10-jump canyoning experience in Nevidio at Durmitor National Park has it all! 

Located in Northern Montenegro, Durmitor National Park is one of the country's largest, protected natural spaces and is situated in the Dinaric Alps. As such, it is known for its many peaks, as well as its glacial lakes and biological diversity. A popular destination for tourists and locals alike, Durmitor National Park is the perfect place for canyoning! 

Nevidio Canyon is ranked as one of the easiest canyons in Durmitor and features 10 jumps, the highest of which is 7-8 meters (23-26 feet). However, most can be avoided by taking alternate routes. It will take approximately 3 hours to navigate the canyon. 

Your 7-hour adventure begins when you are picked up from your accommodations within the Zabljak area. After the group has assembled at the Durmitor Adventure office, you will depart for the 30-minute drive to Nevidio Canyon. Once you've arrived, you will put on your neoprene suit, boots, helmet, and harness.

Then, your fully-licensed and experienced guide will go through a safety briefing.  Depending on the group size (which is a maximum of 30), there will be 1 certified guide per 5-6 people. Under the supervision of your guide, you'll be fully prepared for the time of your life and feel the adrenaline rush of jumping off cliffs into the waters below!

After you've completed the experience, you'll leave on an hour-long hike back to the starting point, 45 minutes of which will be uphill and will require some endurance. But don't worry! You'll be treated to a delicious lunch break with meat, fish, or vegetarian/vegan options and including soup, salad, and a drink. The best way to end such an unforgettable day. In the shuttle on the way back to Zabljak, you'll have earned a well-deserved nap.
