The cruise begins with pick-up from your accommodation around Kotor Bay (please specify your location upon booking). The tour is for private groups of up to 18 people, the perfect excursion for friends or family! The experienced guide will collect you and drive you towards Herceg Novi, a coastal city in Montenegro, located between the high mountain Orjen and the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. The drive will offer mesmerising views of the bay and surrounding mountains.

Upon arrival at Herceg Novi, you’ll have some time to explore the city. Herceg Novi's old town is a charming maze of narrow streets, historic buildings, churches, and squares, reflecting its diverse cultural influences. The city is also renowned for its natural beauty, with crystal-clear waters, lush greenery, and abundant beaches and parks. Herceg Novi is called “a city of flowers”, with many flowers, palm trees, cacti, magnolia, eucalyptus and other species in large supply.

After exploring the city, you’ll board the cruise ship and sail to Žanjice Beach, a beautiful sandy beach located on the Lustica Peninsula, near the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. The beach features a rugged coastline and hidden coves. You’ll stop at the nearby Blue Cave, a mesmerising natural wonder. The cave was formed by the erosion of limestone rock over thousands of years by the Adriatic Sea. Its unique underwater opening allows sunlight to reflect inside the cave, creating the fascinating blue light effect that gives the cave its name. You’ll have some time to swim in the tranquil azure waters, experiencing the magical blue light up close!

After the swimming stop, the cruise continues to Mamula, a stunning island located in the Adriatic Sea. The island offers amazing views of the coastline, the bay and the surrounding mountains. Mamula Island also holds a lot of historical significance, with a fortress built in the 19th century by Austro-Hungarian general Lazar Mamula occupying the largest part of the island. During World War II, the Mamula Fortress was used as a notorious prison camp known for cruelty. 

You’ll have some time to explore around the island and take in the panoramic views. The guide will then sail back to Žanjice Beach, where you can rest and bask in the sunshine. You can enjoy an optional coffee in one of the restaurants, or take another refreshing swim in the sea! Finally, the guide will drive you back to your accommodation around Kotor Bay.
