Discover Norway's magical winter wonderland on this immersive 3-day farm experience package! All levels of experience are welcome.
Join Myhre Gård for an unforgettable "hands-on" adventure on the outskirts of Jotunheimen National Park. Along with riding horses in the beautiful surroundings, you'll also take part in the care of the horses, you'll also connect with the different animals on the farm, including goats, rabbits, miniature horses, pigs, cows, dogs, cats, etc. *Please note that all meals are at an additional cost.
On the farm, you'll pick your own eggs for breakfast as well as participate in daily farm activities and tasks. On your last day, you can choose between dog sledding, snowshoeing, skiing, or horse riding (if possible). Although you and your group will have plenty to do, there will also be ample time to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the wilderness.
Day 1
On the first day, you'll arrive at the farm in the afternoon. After checking into your cosy cabin, you'll meet your knowledgeable guide who will take you to the stable and introduce you to the horses. Once you've brushed and saddled your four-legged friend, you'll be shown basic riding techniques. Then you're off! After your ride, you will join in the evening tasks which include grooming, feeding, and of course, cuddling before the horses' bedtime. For an additional fee, you can enjoy a traditional farmer's dinner (please book in advance).
Day 2
Waking up refreshed, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast before giving the animals theirs. Children can partake in this portion of the day under the supervision of the guide, allowing parents more time to savour their morning coffee. After preparing the horses for the day ahead and packing your saddlebags, you'll set out on an adventure
Day 3
On the last day of this unique experience, you'll get to choose your own adventure and decide between skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, or even more riding (if possible)! The Myhre Gård team is happy to assist in organizing the activities for you.

Please be advised that a minimum number of 3 participants is required to run each tour. If the number is not reached, you can cancel, rebook, or pay an additional 'private service fee'.
In addition, the lowest experience level of your party is required when booking. Guides will choose the path based on this information. For children and those with no prior riding experience, guides will lead the horses. However, parents can also lead their children's horses and will be provided with a brief introduction by staff.
Special terms
Pick-up and drop-off are available in the area around Beitostølen and Heggenes for an additional fee.
For those that want to share this experience with family or friends but are unsure whether riding is for them, you can still join the trip by walking alongside as a "spectator" at a reduced rate.
Please be advised that bed linen and meals are not included in the ticket price.
Upgrade your experience by adding a traditional farm dinner or you can choose to dine at one of the restaurants nearby Beitostølen.
