Chase the Aurora Borealis with an expert guide from Tromsø! This tour gives you the certainty of having a guide who speaks your own language, whether it's English, French, or Spanish. On top of explaining the Northern Lights to you and using the aurora forecast to track down the phenomenon, your guide will also be your personal photographer, ensuring that you return home with great pictures of the Northern Lights!
Meet your guide in the city centre of Tromø, where you will be provided with thermal suits and a brief science lesson explaining the natural phenomenon known as the Aurora Borealis. Your guide will also introduce you to aurora forecasting, and you will use this technology to understand the probability of seeing the Northern Lights during the night, as well as where to search for them.
Once you and your guide have figured out the most optimal itinerary, you will all head out in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter for the chase. Strap on your seatbelts and get ready for an exciting evening out in the wilderness, away from the light pollution, on the quest for streaks of green, orange, or purple in the sky. After you've arrived, your guide will set up a campfire for you to warm up and enjoy a hot mug of hot chocolate while waiting for the magic to appear.
