Experience the thrill of ice skating over natural ice on the wonderful adventure from Trondheim! Trondheim is the third largest city in Norway, located on the Trondheim Fjord, in the centre of the country. The city is a hub for cultural and outdoor experiences, thanks to its wild Arctic surroundings, perfect for activities like snowshoeing, sledging, and, of course, ice skating.
On the day of your ice skating experience in Trondheim, you'll need to arrive at the meeting point in the Brittania Hotel. There, you'll meet your expert Trondheim Kajakk instructor, who will confirm your identity and lead you to the vehicle that will transport you to the frozen lake where the activity will take place. They'll explain exactly how the activity will work, and distribute the skates, helmets, and safety gear necessary for the experience (please don't forget to include your shoe size when booking).
Once you're all geared up, it's time to go! In a group of up to 4 people, you'll skate through a natural frozen lake and enjoy the rush of adrenaline as you speed over the ice on your skates. No previous experience is necessary, just a good physical condition and a willingness to learn. Halfway through the experience, you'll take a break to enjoy some light snacks with a beautiful view of the natural landscapes that surround Trondheim, and once your time is up, you'll return to the city with wonderful memories of your wild ice skating experience.
Please keep in mind that the temperature in Trondheim can reach up to -5 degrees, so be sure to come prepared with warm winter clothing and good-quality snow boots.
