Led by a certified instructor from Haliotis Dive Center, this experience includes two 1-hour snorkelling sessions in different areas around the Berlengas islands, adapted to sea conditions and your experience level. You’ll discover vibrant marine life in shallow, protected bays like Cova do Sono, Flandres, or Baía do Forte São João Batista, known for their sandy and rocky seabeds, reefs, and species such as salemas, seabreams, mullets, octopus, and starfish.

Throughout the day, you’ll be guided by a professional team who will provide safety briefings, identify species with a marine life guidebook, and offer assistance from the boat at all times. All equipment is provided, including a 7mm wetsuit with hooded vest, boots, mask, snorkel and fins. There is no need for a life jacket, as the wetsuit provides natural flotation.

Between sessions, enjoy a relaxed break on the boat with water, bananas, and a traditional Pastel de Nata (feel free to bring your own lunch too). After a refreshing day in the Atlantic, you’ll return to Peniche where facilities are available for a warm shower.
