Boat excursion from Portimao to Benagil cave

Enjoy this boat excursion from Portimao through the endless blue sea that will take you to Benagil cave, one of the most impressive caves in Portugal!

This magnificent journey starts in Portimão. The staff will wait for you at the pier of Clube Naval de Portimão. Once there, the instructor will explain some security procedures. Then, the journey will start towards the famous Benagil Cave.

Along the way, you will see churches, castles, beautiful caves, scary caves and hear old stories. Hopefully you get to see our great friends, the “dolphins”. The vessel are equipped with VHF Radio and will be operating in the same channel as the dolphin watching boats so if they are spotted, which is very frequent in our coast, and they are within 2 nautical miles we will take you to see them.

When you arrive at the Benagil Cave, you’ll be blown away by its beauty. A naturally formed hole at the top lets the sunlight filter down to the sandy beach below. Listen to the echoes of the wind and let yourself be fulfilled and calmed by your surroundings.

Before starting the return to Portimão, we will stop the boat next to Praia da Corredoura, a beach that only has access by sea, for those who want to jump and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Algarve.

It will be a fantastic, funny and interesting trip, which is much more than a boat trip.
