Discover the sporty canyon of Grand Galet during a canyoning descent in the Langevin river in Saint-Joseph!
It is downstream of the Langevin river in Saint-Joseph that you will start this canyoning descent of the Grand Galet, reputed to be a sporty one and offering all the pleasures of a complete canyoning course. Between abseiling, jumps, natural slides and other obstacles, you will be sure to have a great time during this 6 hours descent of the Langevin river!
Shortly after the start, 2 abseils of 10 to 30 meters high await you in the Grand Galet canyon before tackling a 90 meters high waterfall with 4 abseils and a zip line descent to finish. There follow many slides, jumps up to 7 meters never obligatory, zip lines and another guided abseil of 12 meters high all along the Langevin river which will offer you an anthology of strong sensations! At the end of the course, you will arrive in front of the sublime Langevin waterfall to close your descent of the Grand Galet canyon in beauty.
If you are sporty and want to get your adrenaline pumping in Saint-Joseph, the Grand Galet canyon at the Langevin river will give you what you are looking for! But if you rather want to enjoy a canyoning descent focused on discovery, the half-day canyoning in the Langevin River will probably suit you better.
- Reception at the meeting point at 7.30 a.m.
- Journey to the beginning of the course: 25 minutes
- Equipment and briefing : 30 minutes
- Walk to the canyon: 30 minutes
- Descent of the canyon: 6 hours
- Return walk: 5 minutes
- End of the trip at 3 p.m.
Activity requirements
It is necessary to be able to swim to participate in this activity and to have no medical contraindications to the practice of canyoning.
It is recommended not to be afraid of the void.
A minimum number of 2 participants is required for this activity to take place.
