Multiaxis Microlight Flight from Saint-Paul, Reunion Island

Fly Réunion takes you on a multiaxis microlight flight discovery tour of Reunion Island. It is a sight for sore eyes!

First flight

Get ready to take off for the south of the Réunion Island! You will enjoy a microlight flight along the coastline and discover many wonderful spots such as the famous cave of the first frenchmen in Cap Marianne. After flying over the savannah from Saint-Paul to Cap Lahoussaye, you will go on a safari around Saint-Gilles-les-Bains to look for dolphins, sea turtles, humpback whales (in season) and you might also see a whale shark if you are lucky!

You will fly over the Etang de Saint-Paul on your way back to the Cambaie air base in Saint-Paul.

The great adventure

You will fly high above the Galets river and towards the Cirque de Mafate, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will make your way to the Dos d'Ane village and fly over Deux Bras and the Piton Cabris to finally make it to the Cirque de Mafate. You will also be able to see the islets such as Cayenne, Ilet à Bourse, Grand ilet, Ilet aux Orangers, etc.

You will take in some amazing views over the other two cirques: the Cirque de Salazie and the Cirque de Cilaos. And in order to get there, you will follow the Col des Boeufs and fly up the Col du Thaibit which are two mountain passes.

Your microlight flight will finally takes you to the Piton Maïdo, where you will enjoy a pretty spectacular view before flying back to the primary forests of the upper valleys. And last but not least, you will start on a safari looking for dolphins and different types of whales that live in the Réunion's sea. You will make a detour by the Ermitage pass.
