Course of events
- Welcome and briefing on the tour, how to approach dolphins and cetaceans with respect, the underwater environment, the equipment used and safety.
- Participant equipment (provided)
- Boarding and departure for a 2.5 hour sea excursion
- You will be offered a pre-dive to increase your chances of getting in the water with the cetaceans
- Return to port, de-equipping, debriefing and end of activity
Activity requirements
You need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Previous snorkelling experience is required to take part in this activity.
Pregnant people must present a medical certificate if they wish to take part.
Special terms
This activity is not recommended for pregnant people, disabled people or infants.
Pets are not allowed on board.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the activity to take place.
It is possible to have 4 accompanying persons on the boat.
The average whale-watching season on Réunion stretches from July to early October.
As animals are wild and unpredictable, you may not be able to meet them during the activity.
