The Excelsus team invites you to join them in the port of Saint-Leu on the island of Réunion for a 3.5 hrs excursion out to sea to meet the cetaceans and other marine animals that can be seen in the area! Once you're aboard their boat, which takes a small group of people (6 maximum), you'll set off at low speed so as not to impact the animals with the noise of the engine and to allow a better visual search. Keep your eyes peeled, not only to enjoy Réunion's coastal scenery, but also to spot nearby marine animals: dolphins, whales, turtles, seabirds, etc.
When you are lucky enough to see cetaceans, a surface observation phase will be required to study their behaviour, as well as the feasibility of getting into the water while respecting Réunion's cetacean approach charter and animal welfare.
If you can get in the water, it's time to put on your fins, mask and snorkel for a daydream of snorkelling with cetaceans or other marine animals! Your instructors will take the time to guide you gently and kindly, teaching you the right gestures for a respectful approach: no noise, hold hands, swim calmly... A peaceful immersion that allows you to observe these majestic creatures without ever disturbing them.
At the end of this snorkelling session, you will climb back on board the boat to return to the port of Saint-Leu. During the trip (which will be close to the coast of Réunion Island), you may well come across turtles or sea birds, while enjoying a beautiful view of the beaches of Saint-Leu, its lagoon and the mountains in the centre of the island in the background. This activity is reserved for people who are comfortable in the sea, can swim about 100 metres and have already practised snorkelling (fins, mask, snorkel).
Watching and swimming with dolphins in Réunion is an experience not to be missed if you can swim and are comfortable in the deep blue, so don't wait any longer to book this excursion departing from Saint-Leu!
