Practical information
Course of events
Please arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes early. You will get the time to meet the team and other guests who will participate in the tour.
This SUP adventure takes place in stunning natural settings, whether on the sea or in an enclosed body of fresh water in rural East Lothian; sites change depending on weather conditions and will be determined by your teacher on the day of the session.
You will be provided with all the necessary equipment as for the wetsuits to be changed into (you can bring your own if you prefer). Once everyone is geared up and ready to get in the water, we will drive to the SUP location which will take approximately 15 minutes. (The location will always be in the sea unless it is very windy - then we go to a beautiful Scottish loch)
A safety briefing will be given by the instructor on the beach and an introduction to the equipment and its usage. Then you will get coaching from the highly experienced, ASI-qualified instructors.
It is now time to get into the water! And go explore the beautiful coastline!
Once you will finish the tour, walk back to the car and you will be driven back to the meeting point where you will be able to change and get dry. It is now time to enjoy a warm coffee and chocolate!

Practical information
Join this sunset SUP adventure and explore the rocky splendour of the East Lothian shoreline! Situated only 40 minutes from Edinburgh, this is the perfect seaside escape from the city.
Paddle boarding is similar to walking on water, providing a whole different perspective of your surroundings. It is calming and healthy for the mind and soul, and it is also a wonderful exercise!
Paddleboarding in Scotland also allows you to take in a great view of the North Sea and the Scottish coastline. Whether on your feet, knees, or simply lying on your back, rocking to the rhythm of the waves.
The activity takes you on your paddleboard between North Berwick and ancient Dunbar. You will paddle and explore, visiting stunning spots and monuments such as Seacliff Beach, Tantallon Castle, the world's largest gannet colony, and the awe-inspiring Bass Rock.
Experience beaches, rocky inlets, cliffs, islands, and stunning animals such as puffins, seals, and the occasional dolphin on a sunset coastal excursion. If the seas are too rough, your guide may take you inland to an isolated freshwater reservoir. Your ASI-licensed professional guide will teach you excellent technique and water safety.
