Enjoy refreshing jumps and exciting plunges thanks to canyoning in the Sušec Gorge from Bovec !

The pristine waters of the Sušec Gorge await you ! With its many waterfalls and crystal clear pools, the Sušec Canyon offers a great playground for canyoning.

The professional guides from Sport Mix Bovec will be there to make sure you have a safe and fun experience. Besides, this activity is perfect for beginners and experienced canyoners alike. It’s also a great way to spend time outdoors as a family with children above 10 years old.

Only a 10 minutes drive from Bovec, canyon Sušec is ideally located near Žaga village. Before discovering the Sušec canyon, you will hike along a historical path with World War I ruins. Then, your experienced instructor will guide you through the canyon. You will enjoy this adventure in a group of 8 participants maximum per guide.

In the Sušec Canyon, you can expect lush greenery and rugged rock formations that will create a picturesque setting. In this beautiful environment, you’ll be able to try some jumps (up to 7 meters) and abseils (up to 12 meters).

Course of events

- Meet & Greet

- Gear up with the necessary equipment, including a wetsuit, canyoning shoes, a helmet, and a harness

- Safety briefing and overview of the canyoning experience

- Transfer to Sušec Canyon (10 min)

- Hike to the Entry Point (30 min)

- Canyoning Adventure (2h)

- Return to the office

- Debriefing and Farewell

Activity requirements

A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

This activity is not recommended for pregnant people and people with back problems, heart problems or other serious medical conditions and a BMI (Body Mass Index) higher than 30 for women and 40 for men.
