Dive into an adrenalin-filled canyoning experience near Bovec to explore the crystal-clear waters and spectacular rock formations of the Fratarica vertical canyon, ideal for discovering and abseiling close to waterfalls, one of which reaches a height of 45 meters.
Guided by passionate local experts, you'll have the opportunity to jump, slide and abseil down crystal-clear waterfalls, natural slides and narrow gorges.

- Welcome and safety instructions.
- Distribution and checking of canyoning equipment.
- Transfer by car to the canyon (30 minutes).
- Walk to the top of the canyon (30 minutes).
- Neoprene wetsuit fitting.
- Start canyon descent, alternating abseils, jumps and slides for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Walk back to vehicle (10 minutes)
- Return to Bovec Canyoning base (30 minutes)
- End of canyoning
Good physical condition is essential for canyoning. The minimum requirement is to be able to walk easily for 2 hours on difficult terrain, and to have stable feet.
You must wear one pair of sports shoes (without flat soles) for the canyoning activity. Shoes will get wet, so don't forget to take a second pair of shoes to change into after the activity.
You must be able to swim.
If you suffer from vertigo or fear of heights this canyoning is not recommended.
Special terms
The activity can accommodate up to 12 people, but Bovec Canyoning provides an instructor for a maximum of 6 adventurers.
