Canyoning excursion from Alicante to Gorgo de la Escalera

• Pick-up and transfer from Alicante (approx. 1.5 hours)

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up in central Alicante. Sit back and enjoy a scenic drive through the Mediterranean countryside en route to the village of Anna, where the Gorgo de la Escalera canyon is located.

• Arrival, briefing and gear-up in Anna (15 minutes)

Upon arrival, your certified guide welcomes you and provides a full safety briefing. You'll receive all necessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet, harness) and get ready for the canyoning descent.

• Short approach walk and canyon entry (10 to 15 minutes)

A light walk leads the group to the start of the aquatic section. The guide checks all equipment and ensures everyone is prepared before entering the canyon.

• Canyoning descent through the gorge (3 to 4 hours)

Experience a thrilling descent through the Gorgo de la Escalera, including jumps from 2 to 5 metres, natural water slides, short swims, and up to 3 rappels (up to 15 m, depending on water level and guide’s assessment). Your guide leads each section with clear instructions and ensures maximum safety.

• Wrap-up and preparation for return (20 minutes)

After exiting the canyon, enjoy a short walk back to the base to change, relax, and collect your canyoning photos.

• Transfer back to Alicante (approx. 1.5 hours)

Conclude your adventure with a comfortable return drive to Alicante city centre, arriving in the late afternoon.

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.
