Caminito del Rey excursion from Málaga

Please allow around 6 to 8 hours for this activity.

• Depart by bus from Málaga or selected pickup points along the Costa del Sol (approx. 1 to 1h15 depending on traffic).
• During the drive, your guide will provide an introduction to the Caminito del Rey and share useful tips for the hike.
• Stop for a short 30-minute break in Ardales before arriving at the north entrance of the Caminito del Rey.
• Receive your helmet and get a safety briefing.
• Begin the 7.7 km walk along the Caminito del Rey, which takes around 3 hours at a relaxed pace.
• Follow suspended walkways over the canyon, the historic railway route carved into the cliff, and cross the final hanging bridge over 100 meters above the ground.
• Enjoy scenic breaks at key viewpoints, such as the Gaitanes Gorge and the Conde del Guadalhorce reservoir.
• Complete the trail and finish at the southern exit in El Chorro, where your bus will be waiting to take you back to Málaga.

Please arrive 15 minutes at the meeting point before the departure time.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity, as the route has a slight downward slope, with some stairs and elevated sections.

Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
