Enjoy the best canyoning experience in Sierra de Guara, Spain. This is one of the best spots for canyoning near the Pyrenees, less than an hour away from Huesca.
Sierra de Guara Natural Park is the perfect paradise for lovers of this adventure sport. In Sierra de Guara you can find a great number of canyoning: of different lengths, sportive, recreational, familiar, with or without abseiling, aquatic or dry to be done at any time of the year.
To start the activity, the instructor will provide you with the necessary material depending on whether it is an aquatic or dry canyon, with or without abseiling: neoprene (which will be tried on to adjust the sizes), helmet, harness, waterproof canister (where you can keep food and other objects dry during the activity) canyoning rucksack (rucksack that allows the rapid evacuation of the water for optimum progression within the river) safety material (ropes, carabiners, first aid kit, etc. all of which will be provided by the guide TD Barrancos).
The distances on foot vary in each descent, so the guide will inform you of the approximate times until the start of the canyon. Once at the river's foot, clients will be equipped with the specific material to enter the water following their guide's instructions. The duration of the canyon is very variable, and not only because all canyons are different, each group has its own particularities, aptitudes and attitudes.
In addition to the weather, the flow and strength of the water or the number of people doing the same activity, the progression of the group will depend on this. Once the stretch of river is finished and the activity continues on foot until the end of the journey, depending on the ravine, the end can be directly to the vehicle or with some stretch of path. The activity ends with the return to the vehicle.
