Discover canyoning in the Sierra de Guara on the lower part of the Vero River Canyon:
- 8 km with 200 metres of ascent;
- 2 to 3 hours of adventure in the canyon;
- jumps up to 5 metres high, all of which can be bypassed;
- natural slides;
- swimming in natural pools.
Please allow around half a day for the whole experience.

All participants must know how to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant or disabled people.

Practical information
A perfect mountain activity for cooling off in fine weather, canyoning is not to be missed in the Sierra de Guara, north of Huesca. And if this is your very first experience of canyoning, or if you would like to enjoy it with children aged 7 or over, there is nothing like the lower part of the Vero River Canyon, a fun and very aquatic canyon that will give you a superb introduction to canyoning in Alquéraz! The adventure includes a multitude of jumps up to 5 metres high (all of which can be bypassed), swimming in crystal-clear waters and flooded caves, as well as natural slides to keep young and old entertained.
The lower part of the Vero River Canyon is accessible to children from the age of 7, as long as they can swim and are in good physical condition to complete the 8 km of the course. In total, you will spend 2 to 3 hours in the canyon itself, with a qualified instructor on hand to ensure your safety along the way. And to ensure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible, your group will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants, ensuring that the instructor is on hand to help you with any obstacles you come across along the way.
Less than an hour's drive from Huesca, Alquéraz is the starting point for your descent of the lower reaches of the Vero River Canyon. With its magnificent setting of emerald-green natural pools and orange rock faces, this canyon in the Sierra de Guara is sure to charm you, as well as offering you a great outdoor adventure!
