Course of events
You should allow around 4.5 hours in total for this activity, including around 2 hours in the canyon.
- Meet your guide in Cresciano
- Checking equipment at the base
- Carpool to the starting point (15 minutes)
- Approximately 40-minute steep uphill approach on foot
- Start of the canyoning descent for approximately 2 hours of activity (1 guide for a maximum of 8 participants)
- A spectacular 40-metre abseil, almost entirely suspended, leading directly into the depths of the gorge.
- From here, the canyon narrows to reveal an impressive masterpiece of nature.
- In total, there are 5 jumps, the last of which is 11 metres long.
- End of descent, de-equipping and debriefing
- Back to Cresciano
Activity requirements
You need to be able to swim, have experience of abseiling and not be afraid of heights to take part in this activity.
Good general health, sure footedness and physical fitness are also required.
A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.
Special terms
Experience of canyoning is an advantage but not essential.
Due to unpredictable weather conditions, your guide reserves the right to change the canyon, departure time or conditions of participation if necessary.
Contact lenses or glasses are not a problem for canyoning. Please bring a lanyard for glasses and a waterproof case so that you can carry them into the canyon if necessary.
For safety reasons, it is advisable to remove jewellery and piercings before the activity. There is also a risk of losing them.
