Established in the early 90s and managed by David and Eva since 2012, Altitude Rafting is a family-run business based in the French Alps. This dedicated duo leads a professional team of state-qualified guides who have worked together for several years. Their philosophy focuses on a personalized welcome and close attention to every participant, ensuring a safe and joyful introduction to the river.

Rafting activities primarily take place on the Giffre River, starting from the village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and finishing in Samoëns. To maintain a high-quality experience and a dynamic pace, trips are organized in small flotillas of maximum 2 boats. This small-group approach allows for better interaction during water games, swimming, and jumping, while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed according to daily water levels.

The Altitude Rafting base features comfortable facilities, including a chalet for gear collection, two large 20m² gender-segregated changing rooms, and free public parking. Hygiene is a priority, with all wetsuits washed after every rotation and equipment meticulously maintained throughout the season.
