Swiss River Adventures GmbH is a whitewater specialist founded in 2004 in Ilanz, representing over 20 years of activity in the Swiss Alps. Based in the Grisons and Ticino regions, the company operates on the Vorderrhein, Inn, Reuss, and Ticino rivers. You explore the Vorderrhein, known as the Swiss Grand Canyon, on a 20-kilometre section between Ilanz and Reichenau featuring vertical cliffs and deep chasms. The structure offers rafting, canyoning, and kayaking excursions, including specific funyak tours and easy rafting float trips suitable for families and school groups. Technical canyoning highlights include sites such as Iragna and Boggera in Ticino. The international team consists of qualified specialists, many of whom are dual-season guides. As a safety-certified company, Swiss River Adventures GmbH is certified according to ISO 21101:2014 for its adventure tourism safety management system and contributes to the development of Swiss rafting standards.

We had a fun day with our instructors Julien and Jannick, starting with a comprehensive safety briefing and then fun on the river with possibilities to swim and just enjoy the lovely water, glorious setting and tasty BBQ lunch. These guys worked hard all day (including cooking our lunch) to keep us safe and happy and we really enjoyed the whole team building experience.
