Working hand in hand with Abisko.net – home to 60 huskies and one of the region’s most beloved hostels – Abisko Hikes combines local expertise, quality guiding, and a strong connection to the community. In winter, dogsledding tours add a classic Arctic touch, while in summer the huskies join on the trails for unforgettable adventures.

Founded by Anna Åkesson, a certified mountain leader, and Fredrik Johansson, a lifelong Abisko local, the team is passionate about creating safe, authentic, and inspiring experiences. Whether it’s a tailor-made tour, a snowmobile ride under the aurora, or a hike to crystal-clear mountain lakes, Abisko Hikes ensures every guest connects deeply with this unique Arctic landscape.
