Huskies Escapades

Huskies Escapades is a family-run company based in the Val d'Azun, offering dog sledding experiences in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Activities take place between 900 and 1,600 metres above sea level, between the Soulor and Couraduque mountain passes, in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park.

The company is led by Romain Da Fonseca, who has worked as a professional musher and qualified mountain leader since 2007, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to every outing. Throughout the year, Huskies Escapades offers a variety of mountain adventures adapted to the seasons, including dog sledding in winter, wheeled dog cart rides when there is no snow, as well as cani-hiking and cani-snowshoeing excursions.

All activities are supervised by fully qualified professionals holding both the DEJEPS Mountaineering and DEJEPS Dog Sledding certifications, ensuring a safe, professional and enjoyable experience in the spectacular landscapes of the French Pyrenees.
