Aerokix Parapente Les Menuires

Aerokix Parapente Les Menuires is a paragliding business set up in 2022 and based in Les Menuires, Savoie, with more than 4 years of activity, offering tandem paragliding flights in Les Menuires and Val Thorens, in the 3 Valleys ski area. In winter, flights take place on skis: you ride the ski lift up with the instructor, then take off from the summit of La Masse or Mont de la Chambre, depending on the day's conditions. The flight lasts 15 to 20 minutes and includes an introduction to piloting, with aerobatics on request, before landing at Les Fontanettes. Flights are open to passengers from 5 years old and from 20 to 110 kg, provided they can ski a blue run with parallel turns, and are run in French or English. Before each flight, the instructor checks the weather, verifies each passenger's age, weight and skiing level, and gives a safety briefing. Helmet and harness are provided, and the Niviuk Takoo 6 wing and the reserve parachute are inspected regularly. GoPro or Insta360 videos are available as an option.
