Your adventure snowmobiling in Svalbard begins after being picked from your accommodations in Longyearbyen (please specify when booking). Upon arrival at the base, you and your group (a maximum of 30 participants) will be greeted by your experienced instructor and will receive a safety and itinerary briefing. Once you've geared up in a thermal suit, boots, gloves, goggles, balaclava, and mittens, you'll be provided with an introduction to snowmobiling and snowmobile driving techniques. Now, the fun starts!
You'll feel a rush like none other as you set off into the Arctic landscapes of Longyearbyen on your electric snowmobile. Unlike a regular snowmobile, the electric model drives smoothly and silently, minimizing the environmental impact. Take in the wondrous terrain as you travel to the scenic Advent Valley. En route, you'll make several stops at historic locations including the Northern Lights Station and Operafjellet Mountain. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the history of these locales. Don't forget to keep a lookout for wildlife along the way! If you're lucky you may see reindeer from a distance.

All snowmobile drivers must present a valid driver's license and must be able to speak and understand English or a Scandinavian language.
Please be advised that this snowmobile excursion is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back problems.
In addition, all passengers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Wool underlayers and thick sweaters are strongly recommended for this snowmobiling excursion.
A minimum of 2 snowmobile drivers is required to run this tour.
