Activity description

Admire the coastline of the Charlevoix region on a sea kayaking excursion on the St. Lawrence guided by passionate professionals!

Bosco Charlevoix guides invite you to sail from Saint-Siméon into the heart of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, a nature reserve full of surprises. Between magnificent coastal landscapes and the discovery of a rich marine fauna, this outing on the St. Lawrence River along the Charlevoix region will leave you with incredible memories of your stay in Quebec.

Whether you're with family, friends or on your own, Bosco Charlevoix offers three different sea kayaking outings on the St. Lawrence:

- the 3-hour "petite escapade": a sea kayak trip along the charming Quebec village of Saint-Siméon, accessible to everyone aged 4 and over (provided you're in good physical condition);

- outing to "Cap de la Tête aux Chiens": lasting 4 to 6 hours, for participants in good physical condition, with navigation along the coast to the Cap de la Tête aux Chiens lighthouse;

- village-to-village" outing: lasting 5 to 8 hours, for the more athletically inclined, a 20 km trip from Port-au-Persil to Baie-des-Rochers.

For each of these routes on the St. Lawrence River, you can expect to be amazed! In order to respect the sublime environment of the Charlevoix mountains, you'll be in a small group of no more than 8 people. It's also the ideal way to enjoy the scenery at its best, and to benefit from a more personalized guided outing.

You'll probably come across some of the animals that live in the marine reserve: beluga whales, harbor seals, minke whales, etc., and of course a variety of seabirds. Your sea kayaking guides and Charlevoix enthusiasts will be delighted to tell you all about this superb region!

Amazing day. We saw belugas, minke whale, porpoises and seals and all guided by Antoine, charming and knowledgeable.
