Activity description

Go for a 12 km stand up paddle descent on the Rouge River in the Laurentians!

A long river stretching 161 km between Lac de la Fougère and the Ottawa River, the Rouge River crosses the Laurentians from north to south and offers great opportunities for stand up paddling. You can rent a SUP board for a half-day trip down the Rouge River on a 12 km stretch of the river near La Conception, near Mont-Tremblant.

Generally taking 2.5 to 4 hours depending on your pace, the descent of the Rouge River by stand up paddle is an activity requiring a minimum of previous experience on a SUP board, but also a physical effort which makes it accessible to children from 13 years old. Indeed, paddling upright on your board will require energy to reach the end of this autonomous stand up paddle trip on the Rouge River!

Combining sport and tranquility, stand up paddling in the Laurentians is a perfect experience to enjoy the typical Quebec rural setting near Mont-Tremblant. So don't wait any longer to reserve your SUP board and go down the Rouge River in total autonomy!

Course of events

- Welcome at the base in La Conception

- Transfer by shuttle of 7 minutes to the starting point of the stand up paddle trip

- Equipment and safety briefing

- Complete autonomous descent of the Rouge River over 12 km, from 2.5 to 4 hours depending on your pace

- End of the trip and return of the equipment

Activity requirements

Maximum weight: 250 lbs

Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Quiet dogs on a leash are welcome to join this activity.
