About the activity

As the southernmost point of Corsica, Capo Pertusato is a 100-metre-high limestone formation. With its crystal-clear waters and the small, white sandy beach of Saint-Antoine, it offers a postcard-perfect landscape, all of which you can experience on this sea kayaking adventure. Combining paddling and relaxing stops, this 4.5-hour excursion takes you along the famous Bonifacio cliffs in the heart of the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve for a truly unforgettable outing.

Your journey begins at Piantarella Beach, in the turquoise lagoon that connects the shore to the facing Île Piana. The route first takes you to Pointe de Sperone, including a brief visit to the Lovers’ Cave, followed by the Grand Sperone Beach. You will then paddle along the Bonifacio cliffs until reaching Capo Pertusato. Swimming stops in secluded coves punctuate the start of the trip, with the option to snorkel and discover the marine life of the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve, including rays, sea bream, and groupers.

Additional stops follow before reaching Capo Pertusato, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of Bonifacio perched atop its limestone cliffs. Those on the morning departure can take a picnic (not included) while admiring the scenery and the Pertusato Lighthouse before visiting the Orca Cave, an incredible open-air cave inaccessible by boat. Afterwards, it’s time to return to Piantarella Beach.

Offering a perfect balance between paddling and relaxation while exploring the Bonifacio coastline, this sea kayak excursion to Capo Pertusato is ideal for families and friends alike—fun is guaranteed without overexertion!
