Course of events
Please allow 3.5 hours in total for the activity, including 1 hour 45 minutes of kayaking and 1 hour 45 minute of breaks.
- Park your car on the Piantarella road (free or paying car park), which is a 10-minute drive from Bonifacio harbour.
- Walk to the club from the road and the seafront (15/20 min walk depending on peak season)
- Meet your guide at the base on Piantarella beach, 25 minutes before the start of the activity
- Presentation briefing and distribution of equipment for the activity (all equipment for the activity is stored in waterproof containers).
- Get to grips with the equipment with a safety briefing
- Explanation of the course on the beach and launch
- Departure from the Piantarella lagoon to the cliffs of Cala Sciumara
- Crossing of the sandbank
- Seabird watching on the island of Piana
- Passage through the Gulf of Sperone
- Break at the Ciappili cove
