Course of events
Please allow 3 hours on site for the entire experience.
- Welcome by the guide at Primitif Aventure base in Inari/Ivalo and initial meeting
- Mandatory safety briefing on trail etiquette and dog-hiking equipment handling (15 minutes)
- Pairing process where participants are introduced to and matched with their Taimyr dog
- Departure for the nighttime hike on snowy trails winding through arctic forests and past frozen lakes, connected to the dog by belt and leash
