Explore the magical mountains of Lapland on this thrilling Arctic slalom ski excursion near Rovaniemi.
Rovaniemi is the capital city of Lapland, located in northern Finland. Due to its position close to the Arctic Circle, the area experiences snow-covered terrains during the winter. The Finnish ski season operates from December to May. It is a great place for family-friendly skiing, as there are many downhill skiing options suited to all levels of ability.
The adventure begins at the starting point in Rovaniemi (pickup is available within a 15km driving distance), where you will meet your experienced guide. This tour is suitable for both advanced skiers and beginners, as the professional instructor will teach all the basics for beginners. You will receive your skiing equipment, before driving for approximately one hour outside of Rovaniemi to the Ski Centre. After the instruction, you will choose your favourite slope, strap on your skis and get ready to slide down!
On this full-day skiing experience in the White North, you will follow the Tagia treeline through pistes slopes – experiencing true Arctic skiing as you climb to new peaks and slalom into the great unknown. The ski resort has many different on-piste runs to choose from, suitable for every level. The versatile cross-country skiing tracks are the jewel in the crown of this winter sports centre – representing some of the best alpine and slalom terrains in the area. Midway through, you will take a break to warm up and enjoy some hot blueberry juice and gingerbread snacks. At the end of the tour, you will return to the starting point in Rovaniemi.

Activity requirements
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price.
Special terms
At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays. At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays.

Pick-up/drop-off to your hotel/accommodation within a 15 km driving distance from Rovaniemi city centre is included. Please contact your instructor to arrange.
