Climb aboard the comfy sleigh drawn by a snowmobile and experience the thrill of speeding through the Finnish enchanted woodland near Rovaniemi. Welcoming adventurers from ages 3 and up on this family-friendly excursion!
Rovaniemi is located in Finnish Lapland, close to the Arctic Circle. It is a haven for winter sports and nature enthusiasts, due to its snow-covered forests and stunning landscapes. The excursion is ideal for those who do not have a driver's license or who don't feel comfortable driving on snowy trails.
You will meet your experienced guide in Rovaniemi (pickup is available within a 15km driving distance). The guide will take you through a safety briefing, and you will dress up in comfortable winter clothing at the camp to prepare for the exciting excursion. After, you will get set up on the comfortable sled which will be pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Then, the adventure begins!
You will travel into the wilderness on the sled, enveloped in cosy blankets and feeling the cool breeze on your cheeks. This tour is the perfect opportunity to explore the breathtaking splendour of shimmering white landscapes. While taking a break, capture the beautiful scene with your camera. Enjoy the stillness of the remote location while taking in the beautiful Arctic nature. You may even be lucky enough to spot some of the wildlife native to the area! After the sleigh ride excursion, you will return to the starting point in Rovaniemi.

Course of events
- Pick-up from your accommodation or meet at the starting point in Rovaniemi
- Receive Arctic gear and set up the sled
- The adventure begins!
- Ride on the sleigh pulled by a snowmobile through the forest (approximately 30 minutes)
- Return to starting point and transfer back to Rovaniemi
Activity requirements
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by adults paying the full price.
Special terms
At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays.
At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays.
If the anticipated number is not reached, you will be offered a refund or the chance to reschedule.
Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time.
