Discover the joy of winter in Finland! Meet Santa and his reindeer, and enjoy the thrill of snowmobiling through a winter wonderland from Rovaniemi. Welcoming adventurers of all ages on this family-friendly experience!
Rovaniemi is the capital city of the magical Lapland region, a popular winter destination in northern Finland. Rovaniemi is known as the official home of Santa Claus, and you can experience the magic of Christmas all year round in this festive spot!
The day starts with pick-up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi (please specify when booking) or you can meet your guide directly at the activity base. From there, you'll drive to Santa Claus's Village, located right within the Arctic Circle. You will take part in a special “Crossing the Arctic Circle” ceremony, after which you'll receive a commemorative “Crossing the Arctic Circle” certificate!
You'll begin this fun-filled and family-friendly tour by visiting Santa's Official Post Office, and meeting the Elves hard at work! Here, you can send a postcard to your loved ones at home with the official Arctic stamp. You will then visit Santa himself in his Office, where you can share your wishes and take some memorable photos. After some souvenir shopping, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch. Before you know it, it will be time to head out via snowmobile to a local reindeer farm!
Beginners are welcome! Your guide will go through all of the basics of snowmobiling as well as give a safety briefing before setting off. Each snowmobile will be shared between two, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch, while children will sit in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. Upon arrival at the local farm, you'll meet the beautiful reindeer and enjoy a short reindeer-led sleigh ride. Discover the beautiful landscapes and snow forests of Rovaniemi while being pulled by this majestic creature. After you've said goodbye to your new furry friends, you'll return to the city by snowmobile with memories that will last a lifetime! Your guide will then take you back to your original pick-up point in Rovaniemi.

Activity requirements
Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license (category B). Please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity.
For safety reasons, children will be pulled in a sled driven by the guide's snowmobile.
Passengers must be at least 140cm / 4'9" to sit on the snowmobile. Children over the height restriction are allowed to sit on the snowmobile as a passenger when paying the adult price.
