Treat your children to their first water adventure at the Pont du Diable near Annecy on this aquatic hike, suitable for young children, in the heart of the Bauges Massif! The Pont du Diable stream, situated in the Bauges Regional Nature Park, features a limestone bed carved out by the cool waters flowing down towards Lake Annecy. In a preserved, lush green setting, children discover the joys of exploring the river whilst learning to observe its tiny inhabitants and the secrets of the surrounding alpine flora.
During this walk, the young participants make their way along the water’s edge, alternating between walking in the stream, sliding down natural water slides and taking carefully chosen jumps. None of the obstacles are compulsory, allowing each child to progress at their own pace and with complete confidence. The instructor guides the group along this fun trail and shares their knowledge of the river’s biodiversity, raising the youngest participants’ awareness of the need to protect this fragile ecosystem. The outing concludes with a walk back up the path, offering a stunning view of the steep-sided section of the canyon from the Pont du Diable.
