Children Water Hike at the Pont du Diable in Bauges, near Annecy

During this walk, the young participants make their way along the water’s edge, alternating between walking in the stream, sliding down natural water slides and taking carefully chosen jumps. None of the obstacles are compulsory, allowing each child to progress at their own pace and with complete confidence. The instructor guides the group along this fun trail and shares their knowledge of the river’s biodiversity, raising the youngest participants’ awareness of the need to protect this fragile ecosystem. The outing concludes with a walk back up the path, offering a stunning view of the steep-sided section of the canyon from the Pont du Diable.

This activity is specially designed for children aged 6 to 8 who can swim and aren’t afraid to put their heads under water. To ensure a safe and friendly environment, group sizes are limited. A full set of thermal and safety equipment is provided, including a neoprene wetsuit, neoprene socks, a helmet and a life jacket.
