Chassezac Canyon in Ardèche

Whether you are a novice or a keen canyoneer, the Chassezac Canyon offers courses to suit all levels, from the age of 7. Located on the border between the Ardèche and Lozère regions, it is a 45-minute drive from Les Assions, the starting point for this adventure, where your guide will be waiting for you. You will be provided with all the equipment you need for canyoning (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, etc.), ensuring you have a completely safe experience, under the supervision of a professional instructor who will help you overcome the many obstacles in your path!

Depending on the adventure you choose (family, discovery or sporty), your course through the Chassezac Canyon won't be the same, except that all the jumps can be bypassed. Apart from jumps of up to 5 metres on the family route, and 8 metres on the other 2, you will have fun not only sliding down natural slides and swimming, but also abseiling down the discovery and sporty courses (10 metres maximum) and passing under boulders. The exceptional natural setting of the Chassezac Canyon, with its crystal-clear pools and granite walls, makes it one of the most beautiful canyoning environments in the Ardèche!
